Oh My...Apple Pie!!

Last Sunday I discovered the BEST apple pie recipe that I have ever tasted!  My cousin, Kelsey, had a post on her culinary blog about allrecipes.com.  So I gave it a try and found this recipe.  There are a few things I did differently though.  First, I have tried pie crust so many times and I always end up piecing the top crust together and it is just not pretty.  So instead I just used the Pillsbury Pie Crust, they come two in a pack and they were very tasty. 

The next thing I changed is the very most important part to any good apple crisp or apple pie (in my humble opinion) and that would be to use a VARIETY of apples.  I always make sure there are some Granny Smith and Golden Delicious in there along with 2-3 others.  Then follow the recipe from above for the filling and enjoy! 

I am telling you it is a keeper!  I know there are lots of you that check this blog regularly so please let me know how this worked for you.  Until next time.

New Stuff

I just added the tutus and info on ordering.  Keep in mind that tutus are custom so if you can dream it we can do it!!

Also, you are looking at the newest addition to our Modest Milker collection.  Polka dots seem to be the biggest seller.  I am down to the last two of Hotty Dotty and I was able to reorder Dizzy Dots so there will more of that for a little while.  As for the rest of the patterns I am down to the bare minimum.  So if you want one of the current designs for Christmas now would be the time to order.  Cookies n' Cream was a big hit at the boutique this weekend so I am expecting it to go fast as well.  Until next time, take care!!

Information...

Today Jonesy Baby had a very successful day at the Citrus Harvest Boutique.  Thanks to Amy for getting me the info to be a part of it!  I have had a lot of questions about the tutus that were at the Boutique today.  I just wanted to let you all know that I received the colors this week and in getting ready for the event today I neglected putting them up.  I do promise that they will be up by Tuesday!  As for right now I am off for a little date night with the hubby, reward for a week of work!  Be sure to check back.
